boring

Winter is the worst season for bmx. Theres tons of snow, its cold as hell and when it gets dry enough to ride street spots your cranks snap. Its bullshit. I wish calgary had an indoor bmx park. Not skate, not mountian bike but bmx. Somewhere we could all go chill and ride. No cops shuttin down street spots, no skateboards going rouge and taking out ankles and spokes. Somewhere we could go to keep fresh in the winter that wasnt a hour and a half drive. But we dont. One day maybe but ill probly be gone by then. Somewhere that the bmx scene isnt a constant battle f witt or whos the best rider. Somewhere people ride bikes cause its fun and free of rules and regulations.... one day.

spiring is upon us.

Riding season is slowly creeping up on us. A week of no snow and good weather has been nice. The streets are rideable and a street session is gonna go down tomorrow.  If someone brings a camera ill work on an edit and get some calgary riders doing what they do best. theres a few spots i wanna get some little clips, a few sets and whatever is rideable.

Jeff: why did you choose to ride for mutiny?

Randy: I looked at it like a chance to be really tight with the team since i was always coming to austin even before i lived here and i knew it was going to be badass and it totally is. Joe and Gaz are doing an awesome job with mutiny and i couldnt be more proud to ride for a bike company.

Jeff: when your riding what kind of music do you listen to?

Randy: either fast and heavy like: electric wizard, mastadon and slayer or just some good chill stuff like: modest mouse and bowie

Jeff: where do you see yourself in the bmx industry in 5 years?

Randy: hard to say i mean i see a bunch guys who ride coming up with all these companies, im not sure if i would ever be into that but i might not have anything else haha ill be riding for sure though

Jeff: favorite video part of all time?

Randy: at the moment its hamilton in federal, just watched it today

Jeff: if you could improve one thing about your riding what would it be?

Randy: airing ramps, im so sketchy on tranny
